Call your mayor for the Global Week of Action

Take action by calling your mayor or local leaders to urge them to bring cheap clean energy to your community. 

We’ve created a script and additional talking points, but it will be even more powerful if you personalize your message. Just remember to be polite and respectful. 

Find your mayor or local leaders’ phone number by googling “phone number for [your city].” Or use this website if you live in the US, Canada, Mexico, Great Britain, Germany, Australia, or New Zealand. 

Script:

My name is [your name] and I'm calling you today on behalf of over 8,000 people from across the world who've signed a petition urging you to bring cheap clean energy to [your city/community].

Today, clean energy is the cheapest form of new energy almost everywhere. It’s the most effective way to keep electricity bills down, protect our community’s health, and tackle climate change.
