“We are running out of time to solve the climate crisis. At a time when the U.S. federal government should be leading the global charge for solutions, the Trump Administration continues to block practical climate action at home and abroad. Today’s tax package is yet another missed opportunity to support and accelerate the national transition to clean energy – an endeavor already being led by states, cities, towns, businesses, and universities that refuse to wait for action from the federal government.

“The science is clear: we must cut emissions in half over the next decade or risk climate catastrophe. If the Trump Administration continues to obstruct action to support the growth of practical, economical climate solutions, such as solar, offshore wind, energy storage, and electric vehicles, they will find themselves on the wrong side of history.”
