All over the world, communities organized watch parties that gave people an opportunity to view the presentation, discuss it among themselves and have some fun along the way.

Businesses understand: It pays to solve the climate crisisOver the past several years, electric utilities, automobile manufacturers, investors and other businesses have started to recognize that climate change is real and that humans are contributing to it. These companies also realize that they can be part of the solution -- and that it makes business sense to do so.

Honoring Wangari MaathaiI was deeply saddened to learn that an extraordinary woman, a passionate advocate for human rights and the environment, has passed away. Professor Wangari Muta Maathai, who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2004, dedicated her life to empowering women and promoting democracy and peace with a focus on sustainable development. We are honored that Professor Maathai served on our Board of Directors.
