Last week, hundreds of people testified in front of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to share personal stories of how carbon pollution is affecting their daily lives (including Olympic skier and I AM PRO SNOW Climate Ambassador Kaylin Richardson).
Many spoke passionately, including one retired coal miner who traveled all the way from Kentucky to Denver to testify on how coal-fired power plants are crippling his health and that of the public. His plea to the EPA: "We're dying, literally, dying, for you to help us."
Even if you couldn’t make it to an EPA listening session, we hope you’ll raise your voice by sending a comment to the EPA supporting the Clean Power Plan. When you do, you'll not only add your name alongside so many others, you'll become an integral part of the movement to end the carbon pollution driving climate change. We're glad to have you on our side as a committed activist.
We were on the ground at the EPA hearings last week, speaking to tens of thousands of Americans about the proposed plan. One question we kept hearing was, "What else can I do to help?"
