Clean Air: We Can’t Live Without It.
When did Americans ever want more dangerous toxins and pollution in the air we breathe?
But now, new Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt has asked several EPA offices – including the Office of Air and Radiation (OAR) – to recommend rules on pollution that could be repealed, replaced, or modified to make them “less burdensome”.
The short answer? None of them.
Especially when it comes to the Clean Air Act and the programs that protect the air we breathe. It doesn’t matter which way you vote. You don’t want to see your family, your friends, and the others you love choking on dirty, polluted air. Not just so well-connected polluters can cut corners to boost their bottom lines.

Dear Administrator Pruitt,
We trust our government to put the health of regular Americans first. Before well-connected donors. And before polluters looking to cut corners just to boost their bottom lines.
We’re calling on the EPA to preserve the Clean Air Act as it stands and all agency programs that protect the air Americans breathe, the environment we live in, and the climate we share from any repeal, replacement, or modification.
We simply can’t live without clean air. None of our children deserve to grow up living with the burden of asthma or respiratory disease thanks to reckless pollution. None of us want to live with the burden of choking on the air outside, just because we’re in the wrong neighborhood.
The mission of the EPA is to protect human health and environment. We’re calling on the agency to do its job and protect the rules and regulation that protect our health and environment.
