Stand Up for Cleaner Cars
The Trump Administration has announced it will reopen the midterm review of fuel efficiency and clean car standards – a process completed less than a year ago when more than 8,000 Climate Reality supporters spoke out for higher fuel economy standards. Now, we’re asking you to speak up again.
These standards reduce smog and dangerous carbon pollution, save American families money, and protect vital manufacturing jobs.
Show the administration you’re serious about ending the climate crisis by adding your name to support strong fuel economy standards that protect our planet, our wallets, and our health.

Dear Administrator Pruitt,
The current fuel efficiency standards could save American families up to $5,700 during the lifetime of a new car, create up to 570,000 full-time jobs by 2030, and significantly reduce harmful carbon emissions that threaten the health of our families and our planet.
They also show the world that we’re serious about leading the fight to stop the climate crisis by making meaningful progress toward common sense solutions.
The standards should stay as they are because strong fuel efficiency standards are good for our planet, our health, and our wallets.
