Mississippi State University: Campus Corps Chapter

Climate change is the biggest challenge of our generation, posing massive environmental challenges, and disproportionately affecting underprivileged communities. The movement to address climate change must be led by young people, especially college students on the cusp of entering the workforce. The Mississippi State University (MSU): Campus Corps Chapter is a student-led organization that educates the MSU community about the various effects of climate change. The chapter is working to ensure that MSU receives 100 percent of its energy from renewable sources such as solar and wind. By working with faculty and MSU staff, they are creating a plan for MSU to transition over to 100 percent renewable energy as fast as economically possible.
