(He/Him) Farooq Salahuddin is the people director for The Climate Reality Project. He will drive the development and implementation of strategies and practices that strengthen organizational culture, training, and employee engagement for The Climate Reality Project. From overseeing basic HR functions to building sound and strong people oriented HR systems and processes that support the staff, Farooq’s mission is to ensure Climate Reality’s people have the tools and resources they need for success. Farooq has held several HR and operations leadership positions throughout his career. Most recently, Farooq is coming to us from Lockwood Strategy where he was the director of people. Farooq was also director of HR for Enroll America and Color of Change, and is a veteran of political campaigns including the Clinton campaign of 2016, and the Obama 2012 re-elect and Obama Foundation operations team. A voracious reader and consumer of history, political and entertainment trivia, Farooq is a graduate of Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, IL.
