Li-Ya is a climate organizer and yoga teacher and works in higher education. She currently serves as the chair at the Climate Reality Project: Dallas-Ft. Worth Chapter. As a social science educator, Li-Ya is taking part in the climate movement by doing what she most enjoys doing – coaching, training, and listening to people, especially youth and college students. Her goal in climate advocacy is that we are always aware that every aspect of our lives, including social justice and the economy, is tightly interconnected with the health of the natural world and the well-being of our communities. The momentum of the climate movement is really in our hands. Li-Ya is fighting for a better world to save all we can. She knows we will act together to solve the climate crisis and transform our communities to a fairer and cleaner reality.
