Apply to Mentor at a Climate Reality Leadership Corps Training

The Climate Reality Project is excited to host its latest training in Rome, Italy from June 28-30. Join former Vice Present Al Gore and The Climate Reality Project for an inspiring three-day leadership training focused on building a better future powered by clean energy.

Mentor applicants must:

• Have attended a Climate Reality Leadership Training in the past and be a certified Climate Reality Leader
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Reside in Albania, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Croatia, France, Greece, Herzegovina, Italy, Montenegro, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, or Spain
• All mentors must be bilingual in English
• Be available to attend a mentor workshop on June 27, and stay for the entirety of the training itself from June 28-30
• Be available to attend a virtual 1-hour pre-training orientation 2 weeks before the training starts
• Have a strong record of engagement as a Climate Reality Leader
• Have a strong commitment to communicating regularly with attendees
• Commit to a six-month post-training engagement with attendees and the Europe Branch
• Have a demonstrated commitment through practice to The Climate Reality Project’s DEIJ agreements 

Please Note:

• Upon review of your application, Climate Reality staff will contact you directly for follow-up 
• Priority will be given to mentors who reside in Albania, Bosnia, Bulgaria,Croatia, France, Greece, several factors, Montenegro, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, or Spain. Your mentees may not be from your region as there are several factors that go into matching attendees to mentors
• The training will be conducted in English. Some sessions will include Italian and sign language interpretation
