Tracey MacDermott is a clinical research Manager for the department of surgery at the CU School of Medicine, where she has grown the research department and has been an author on several publications. She has served on the Board of Greater Park Hill Community for the last 15 years and was a key component in helping Greater Park Hill reach Outstanding status with the Sustainable Neighborhoods Program. She is a trained Climate Reality Leader and writes a monthly column for the Greater Park Hill News, called Earth Matters. In 2012 she was awarded the Dr. J. Carlton Babbs Award for community service and is a Paul Harris Fellow with the Rotary club. She is currently serving as the Denver Metro chapter chair and the co-chair of the 100% Committed statewide campaign. She and her wife were one of the nine couples who sued the State of Colorado for marriage equality. They have nine nieces and nephews, and a great nephew on the way, who by default are our next climate leaders.
