Lehigh Valley, PA
The Lehigh Valley, PA Chapter is a dedicated group of climate activists. The chapter began following the Pittsburgh training in 2017 with a group of five individuals interested in moving the needle in their own backyard. The chapter is currently focused on presentations and being a convening space for other green groups and movements in the area. We’re looking forward to seeing what they’ll do next. If this is your local chapter, be sure to get involved!

Pittsburgh and Southwestern Pennsylvania
Formed in 2017 following the Climate Reality Leadership Corps training in Pittsburgh, the Pittsburgh & Southwestern PA Chapter is a dedicated group of citizens working to transition Western Pennsylvania to a carbon-neutral economy by 2030. We seek just climate solutions that include frontline communities who have born the brunt of environmental injustice. Our current priorities are to:
- Hasten the transition to a clean economic future for Pennsylvania & the Ohio River Valley
- Increase public discourse about climate impacts, climate justice, and climate solutions
- Prevent the petrochemical and plastic-factory buildout of the Ohio River Valley
We hold regular events to keep us informed on local climate issues and innovations, we host meetings to build community amongst our membership, and we workshop practices on effective climate conversations. Susquehanna Valley, PA
The Susquehanna Valley, PA Chapter is a small but mighty group of climate activists who work to connect with the people of Central PA about the urgency of taking action on the climate crisis. Our chapter started after five of the charter members were trained together at the Pittsburgh training in 2017, and encompasses a wide geographic area including members from Union, Montour, Snyder, Clinton, Lycoming, and Northumberland counties. Chapter members each bring a different skill set as they reach out to the community through climate presentations, plays, writing projects, climate strikes, and coalition building. We have campaigns in progress on climate action at the county and municipal level, petrochemical pollution, social justice, bird habitat restoration through native plants, and support of state and federal legislation. The Susquehanna Valley has a vibrant community of activists and we are making a difference. If this is where you live, please reach out to the chapter at susquehannavalleyCRP@gmail.com and become a part of this community.
