The Northern Virginia Community College: Campus Corps Chapter is a dedicated group of student climate activists taking action on campus. This Campus Corps chapter has made significant progress in its climate education campaigns, including holding regular educational and action-oriented events across two campuses. These students know what is at stake and are ready to fight for their future! We’re looking forward to seeing what they’ll do next. Northern Virginia
The Northern Virginia Chapter is a dedicated group of climate activists in the Washington, DC metropolitan area (aka the DMV). The chapter formed in 2017 with a team of five individuals interested in moving the needle in their own backyard. The chapter currently has a heavy focus on environmental justice and 100 percent renewable campaigns, and works in coalition with other climate organizations throughout the region. Chapter members come from a wide range of ages and occupations, from retired accountants to high school students to new parents. Synergy at work! We look forward to seeing what they’ll do next. If this is your local chapter, be sure to get involved!
