THE CLIMATE REALITY PROJECT COMES TO CAMPUS
For young people concerned about their opportunities in a world shaped by the climate crisis, Campus Corps offers the chance to take their future into their own hands, starting in their college dormitories, classrooms, and campus quads.
With help from national Climate Reality staff, students at participating campuses receive guidance in designing campaigns and organizing fellow students to convince their schools to embrace clean energy and sustainability. Then they take action – with powerful results.
By joining Climate Reality Campus Corps and participating in the 100% Committed campaign that works to get campuses to commit to being powered by 100% renewable electricity, young people can personally play a key role in the historic movement that will transform the global economy and create a safe, sustainable, and prosperous future for us all.
BRING CLIMATE ACTION TO YOUR CAMPUS
Build a Campus Corps Chapter on Your Campus
Over the next several years, The Climate Reality Project Campus Corps’ 100% Committed activists at universities nationwide will build student pressure to move campuses to 100-percent clean, renewable electricity. We work to pressure administrators to commit to a target of powering their campus with 100% renewable electricity by 2030.
Through this campaign, we aim to not only catalyze a shift in how US colleges and universities source and use energy, but also build the infrastructure to enable students to become powerful forces in driving pro-climate policies at the local, state, and national levels.
