(He/him) Rahul Young is the director of local engagement at Rewiring America, where he leads the Local Government Leaders for Electrification Coalition. Rahul has spent over 25 years working at the intersection of climate change and local government in for-profit, non-profit, and municipal roles. He was the City of Berkeley, California’s first Green Building Coordinator. He spent 10 years at ICF International building a corporate sustainability program, and designing and managing energy efficiency programs for cities and utilities. He was the chief operating officer at Tides, and the deputy director at the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition. Rahul has an MS in energy engineering and a BA in public policy from Stanford University.
