Rebekah Egbert (she/her/hers)
Facilitator, National Network for Ocean and Climate Change Interpretation
Rebekah Egbert is passionate about climate change communication. In 2011, she started her collaboration with the National Network for Ocean and Climate Change Interpretation (NNOCCI). NNOCCI’s research-based strategic framing techniques for climate change communication made her feel hopeful and part of a community of practice. The hope is still present today. Rebekah is a former member of the board of directors for NNOCCI and now serves on the Network Governing Council. She is a facilitator for NNOCCI trainings. Rebekah lives in Salt Lake City, Utah. She works as a brand experience manager for a nonprofit organization. Rebekah loves exploring the diverse and brilliant landscapes of Utah and is in awe of the beauty of the state. Sharing Utah’s climate story about the mountains, the Great Salt Lake, and the red rocks with the community inspires her work as a climate change communicator.
