Youth Engagement Program Associate
(she/her/hers) Sidney is the Youth Engagement program associate at The Climate Reality Project, working with and supporting young leaders to fight for bold climate action. She grew up in the Northern Virginia area and earned a B.A. in Public Policy and Environmental Science from William and Mary. Prior to Climate Reality, Sidney has worked with the Institute for Policy Studies' National Priorities Project where she wrote about the militarized budget, the revolving door, and all of the ways these intersect with the need for urgent environmental and climate justice. Sidney is also supporting Black, Indigenous, and youth of color student organizers at Dissenters where she works on training and leadership development. Outside of organizing, you can find Sidney hanging out in coffee shops (although she prefers tea), reading, and spending time outdoors.
