Vivienne Maxwell

Vivienne Maxwell (she/her) is a data analyst for The Climate Reality Project. Prior to this role, she worked for the Springfield Public Schools in Massachusetts as part of the strategic data team, where she used student data to identify academic patterns and implement data-driven decisions. Vivienne is a Posse Scholar and has a degree in statistical and data sciences from Smith College. During her undergraduate studies, Vivienne was part of two geological research labs; she discovered a new genus and species of ophiuroids while researching the End-Permian mass extinction event, and she published two journal articles. Vivienne grew up in Switzerland, where she developed a love for the outdoors and enjoys giving back to her community as an information volunteer in the Appalachian Mountain Club’s High Mountain Huts.
