Esther Sosa

Esther Sosa (she/her) is a special advisor at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), where she leads the implementation of the Thriving Communities Technical Assistance Center. Her background includes work at the Environmental Defense Fund, where she focused on people-centered climate policy, and the Mayor's Office of New York City, where she developed initiatives to connect underserved communities with city services. She was a fellow at the Aspen Institute Climate Technology & Policy Hub. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in environmental studies and economics from Bowdoin College and a master's in environmental studies from Yale University.
