Maggie Ortiz (she/her) is a leader of Climate Reality’s Greater NJ Gateway chapter and wants to provide a welcoming place for people to learn, organize, and do what they can to make a change for the better. Having an emotional draw towards nature all her life, she came into climate action after establishing a career as a data engineer. Maggie uses her personal time to help advocate for legislation, educate about different environmental topics, and create actions people can take to make their voices heard.
