Urge Congress to Reject Plastics Pollution & Incinerators

The plastics industry and Big Oil are supporting federal legislation that would promote chemical recycling – a false solution to the plastics crisis – and weaken regulations at the expense of our health and climate.

These plants superheat plastic – derived from fossil fuels – to create fuels and chemicals that can lead to even more greenhouse gas emissions, worsening the climate crisis and causing other environmental and public health harms in the process.

Write to Congress and urge them to reject this legislation that weakens federal protections that safeguard communities from pollution and emissions caused by pyrolysis plants.
