Zero Fossil Fuel Lobbyists in COP 30 Delegations

The United Nation’s COP talks remain the best and most inclusive global forum for addressing the climate crisis. But in the 10 years since the Paris Agreement, the COP process has failed to deliver real plans to hold warming to 1.5 degrees. 

Here’s one reason why: Fossil fuel companies and wealthy petrostates have infiltrated COP negotiations to slow climate progress, delay the global energy transition, and burn more fossil fuels to line their pockets. 

It’s got to stop. With COP 30 coming up in Brazil this November, world leaders must demonstrate true climate leadership by preventing lobbyists from stalling much-needed action.
