Altantsetseg Tsedendamba is executive director of Arga Bilig NGO—the Secretariat of the World Union of Indigenous Spiritual Practitioners (WUISP)—and a ceremonial assistant to Indigenous spiritual practitioners from Mongolia. A respected elder of the Esen Mend clan, she is a mother and grandmother of 13 grandchildren. Since 2010, she has championed safeguarding of the Altai’s cultural and ecological heritage through Altai Uv, is a founding member of WUISP, and since 2020, she has led Arga Bilig, the Secretariat of WUISP. Trained in technology, with early experience in the leather industry, she brings practical problem solving to climate action. She advocates for the integration of Indigenous knowledge into climate action, amplifying the voices of frontline communities and the spiritual values that foster resilience.
