Bilgudei Gankhulug is a social entrepreneur developing impact-driven solutions for the nomadic herders in Mongolia. Previously, his project Hunu has been chosen as a finalist for the World Bank pitch competition from over 2,100 applicants of 130 countries and was recently chosen for the Google Startups for Sustainable Development program. He has previously launched multiple initiatives addressing social and environmental challenges, reaching over one million people in Mongolia. He bridges traditional knowledge of being a herder with 6+ years of experience in product design, business, and UX strategy into bringing tech products to life. In addition, he runs a family business of nomadic tourist camp, restaurant, meat factory and raises livestock in the countryside.
