Danica is the director for climate policy at ICSC. She heads the climate policy team and leads coordination with academic institutions, policy think tanks, scientists, and other experts on the climate science, governance, and finance agenda for policy development with national and local governments. Danica represents ICSC in official activities under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and CSO observer networks in the Green Climate Fund, Funds Responding to Loss and Damage, and Independent Global Stocktake. She has a bachelor’s degree in social sciences at the University of the Philippines Baguio and executive master's in disaster risk and crisis management at the Asian Institute of Management.
