Laila Zaid studied advertising but made a career in the performing arts. She made the most of the fame she garnered from her on-screen work to spread socio-environmental causes on social media. In recent years, she has dedicated herself exclusively to advocating for the climate agenda. She is the author of “Manual Para Super-Heróis,” a sustainability guide for children which has been adopted for use in several schools in Brazil. She is an expert in health and climate, became a Climate Reality Leader, was a columnist for the Um Só Planeta portal, and has spoken at various forums, including TEDx. In 2023, she founded Agência Cuíca, a communications agency focused on promoting civil engagement in the climate agenda through influencer marketing.
