Enkhuun Byambadorj is an environmental rights advocate. Witnessing her loved ones suffer from air pollution, she co-founded Breathe Mongolia at 18, a nonprofit working to transform policies, narratives, and sectors to clean our air and protect the climate. Last year alone, her team trained over 600 youth in environmental action and reached more than 252,000 people through clean air campaigns. Enkhuun holds a BA in environment and international development, a combination that fuels her commitment to advancing justice through the multilateral systems. She advocates for environmental justice and human rights-based approaches in negotiation processes, including serving as a UNFCCC youth negotiator over the past two years.
