Marcele Oliveira is the presidency youth climate champion of COP 30, responsible for leading and expanding the participation of children, adolescents, and young people in COP 30. Director of Perifalab, she has been a cultural producer, communicator, and activist since 2019, focusing on combating environmental racism in Realengo, in the West Zone of Rio. Founder of the Climate Change Coalition, she was part of the Realengo 2030 Agenda and the Young Climate Negotiators program of the Municipal Secretariat for the Environment. She’s the master of ceremonies at Circo Voador, and researches the relationship between culture and climate adaptation in urban outskirts. She has participated in COPs since COP 27 in Egypt.
