Marcyeli Leoncio Rodrigues is an Indigenous Terena woman who lives in Vila São Miguel, in Aldeia Mãe Terra, Cachoeirinha Indigenous Territory, in the Pantanal biome. She has been working as an artisan and ceramist for two years in the Group of Ceramists and Artisans of Aldeia Mãe Terra – Vila São Miguel/Kinikinau Indigenous Community, supported by IPEDI and BRUACA. As a representative for the women in her community, Marcyeli is dedicated to strengthening female participation in the preservation of ancestral knowledge, conducting a survey of the village's traditional ceramics and handicrafts. She is also a community firefighter, contributing to projects for the restoration and protection of the territory, and actively participated in the drafting of the Aldeia Mãe Terra Climate Rights Charter.
