With a background in international relations and peace studies, Odontungalag Battulga’s university research explored green financing in Japan and the United Kingdom. Building on this academic foundation, Odontungalag’s current work at the Trade and Development Bank of Mongolia’s Green Funding Office focuses on supporting sustainable finance and mobilizing resources for climate action. Participation in the Young Leadership Program also led to the launch of the Junior Climate Champions initiative, which provides climate education to high school students across all 21 provinces of Mongolia. These efforts aim to raise awareness and encourage youth engagement in addressing climate change.
