Constanza Espinosa

Constanza Espinos is an architect at the University of Chile. She is also the co-founder and director of the Chilean Glaciers Foundation, with a distinguished career in environmental communication, science outreach, and glacier advocacy. She has spoken at seminars and participated in panel discussions across the country. She worked to establish National Glacier Day, which was first celebrated on March 21, 2025. She served on the Ministry of Environment's National Council for Sustainability and Climate Change (2024–2026), contributing to the evaluation of environmental protection regulations. In 2025, the digital newspaper Diario Sustentable recognized her as one of the 14 leading women in sustainability, foundations, and NGOs in Chile.
