Emma Huynh
Emma Huynh (she/her) is an undergraduate student at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), studying environmental science with a focus on engineering and health. She began working with the Long Beach Green Schools Campaign in 2021 and the Climate Reality project in 2023 after graduating high school. Across Long Beach, Emma has experience working with nonprofit organizations such as Algalita Marine Research, and other institutions as an intern for the Long Beach Office of Sustainability. At UCLA, Emma is part of the Undergraduate Studeents Association Council’s Facilities Commission, serving in the Environmental Justice Committee where she works to increase environmentally focused civic action that supports student and community well-being. Outside of the environmental sphere, you can find her at a bookstore, along the beach of any coastal city, or experimenting in the kitchen.
