Danilo Farias is from Caravelas (BA) and serves as legal advocacy and strategic litigation leader and senior public policy analyst at WWF-Brazil. Previously, he served as an environmental and ESG lawyer at Mattos Filho, through the SOMA Talentos program. He holds a bachelor's degree in humanities (UFSB) and a master's degree in human rights and the environment (UFPA), with specializations in environmental law (IDPV) and the rights of traditional peoples and communities (UFBA). He is a member of LACLIMA, AIDA, CBJC, Fundação Lemann, RAPS, YCL, ProLíder, among others. Recognized as one of the 20 most influential voices in climate justice (PYCC), he works for the emancipation of vulnerable groups, focusing on climate change, socio-environmental justice, and climate litigation.
