A forestry engineer from the University of Chile, she joined the Tompkins Conservation team in 2001 to develop the Alerce 3,000 project in Pumalín Park. She subsequently managed land conservation programs, implemented geographic information systems (GIS), and oversaw the development of scenic routes and land acquisition aimed at creating an integrated territory through conservation projects. She was part of the team that secured the designation of Pumalín Park as a nature sanctuary and the creation of Corcovado National Park in 2005. Similarly, she participated in the creation of Yendegaia National Park in 2013. She played a pivotal leadership role in the day-to-day work of assembling properties for the creation of Pumalín Douglas Tompkins National Park and Patagonia National Park, as well as in developing and executing the 2018 Patagonia Parks Network agreement, which resulted in the creation of over 4.5 million hectares of new national parks in Chile. She is currently part of the team leading the conservation initiative for the future Patagonia National Park and is also involved in a series of conservation projects along the Route of Parks and the Andean Corridor.
