Jane Muigai Kamphuis is the founder and director of The Toolkit for Skills and Innovation, established in 2014 to address youth unemployment and the shortage of skilled labor in sectors like construction, infrastructure, and renewable energy. Under her leadership, Toolkit significantly advances green jobs through solar skilling, training hundreds of technicians, and fostering inclusion. With 15-plus years at UNHCR, she is a Harvard LL.M. graduate and expert in humanitarian law. Jane serves on Ashden’s Board, advocating sustainable solutions and actionable climate initiatives.
