Joojin Kim is founder and CEO of Solutions for Our Climate (SFOC), a Seoul- based climate organization, with offices in Tokyo and Taipei. SFOC performed a critical role in ending coal power financing by the South Korean government, which led to similar decisions by the Japanese and Chinese governments. Before founding SFOC, he advised numerous energy-related projects as a lawyer at Kim & Chang, Korea's largest law firm, and briefly worked at the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF). Joojin majored in international relations at Seoul National University, where he also earned a master's degree at its Graduate School of Environmental Studies. He received his environmental law LL.M. from Georgetown University Law Center.
