Karen Kimani has been an environmental conservationist since the age of five years old. She has grown over 15K trees, including planting an Elgon Teak tree with His Majesty King Charles III of England. She has won many national and global environmental awards, including MTM environmental excellence awards, UK, and Green Kids Awards Kenya. Karen has given several climate change speeches at climate summits, including COP 27, COP 28, and The 5th Northern Climate Forum, Russia 2024. She initiated several school environmental clubs. Karen is the CEO of Karen Forte Environmental Conservation Foundation Organisation with 400 members. She is growing her own 50-acre model forest in central Kenya.
