Laurel Kivuyo is a passionate environmental health scientist from Tanzania, dedicated to empowering youth and women through climate justice and sustainable development. As the founder and executive director of Climate Hub Tanzania, she has led transformative grassroots initiatives that have directly supported thousands of young people and women, especially in underserved communities through climate education, green entrepreneurship training, and access to clean energy solutions like eco-briquette production. Laurel has received several awards for her vibrant advocacy and has represented youth voices in global climate arenas across more than 16 countries as the SADC climate change envoy. She is also a certified climate justice trainer.
