Lynn Kamande currently serves as the Africa regional organizer at 350Africa.org. With a strong grounding in climate science and social mobilization, she is passionate about driving community-led action that addresses both the root causes and local impacts of the climate crisis. Lynn’s interest in climate change grew from a curiosity about the Earth’s systems—how human activity interacts with the environment, and what equitable solutions can shape a more sustainable future for the continent. Through this work, Lynn aims to amplify grassroots voices, challenge fossil fuel dependency, and help reimagine a just, renewable energy future for Africa.
