Professor Maisa Rojas is a full professor at the department of geophysics at the University of Chile and former Minister of the Environment of Chile (2022–2026). She is a physicist and climatologist with a doctorate degree in atmospheric physics from the University of Oxford, United Kingdom. She is also the former director of the Center of Climate and Resilience Research (CR)2 in Chile and was the lead author and coordinating lead author of the Fifth and Sixth IPCC Assessment Reports, respectively.
