Martín del Río is a Chilean publicist, landscape architect, and project manager, founder, and director of Ladera Sur, the leading platform in Chile and Latin America dedicated to nature and conservation content. He is a National Geographic Explorer and in 2025 he became the first Chilean to receive the National Geographic Wayfinder Award, recognizing his impact on conservation and environmental storytelling. He is also the creator of the Santiago Wild Film Festival and the Ladera Sur Festival, promoting people's connection with nature in Chile and Latin America.
