Matt Traldi, founder and CEO of Greenlight America, was one of Grist’s 50 Climate Leaders to Know in 2025. Matt previously founded Indivisible, one of the nation’s largest grassroots civic engagement organizations, for which he was named one of TIME Magazine’s “25 Most Influential People on the Internet” in 2017. Before that, he worked for more than a decade in the labor movement as an organizer, researcher, policy director, and secretary-treasurer of a local union.
