Mitzi is a climate justice advocate dedicated to inclusive engagement of local stakeholders in national and international policy decisions. She currently leads the Climate Diplomacy Program of The Climate Reality Project Philippines, which supports local dialogues and awareness raising about NDC and voluntary carbon markets in the country. Her work bridges technical assistance with grassroots organizing and policy lobbying, particularly with mining-affected communities in Davao Oriental and fisherfolks in Samal. She is a founding member of the Students Environmental Alliance of Davao (SEAD) and co-convenor of Integral Ecology Network Mindanao. Mitzi also holds an environmental science degree from Ateneo de Davao University.
