Pilar Moraga

Pilar Moraga holds a PhD in law from the University of Lille2, awarded with the highest distinction (2005), and a master’s in international and European law from the same institution (2001). She is a lawyer at the at the at the University of Chile, the director at the Environmental Law Center, University of Chile, and the director and science policy interface at the Center for Climate and Resilience Research (CR2). She has also been an associate researcher at Solar Energy Center SERC-Chile (2013–2022). She is a consultant on several projects regarding climate change governance, disasters, and environmental protection for UNISDR, CEPAL, Euroclima, and ParlAmericas, among others, and is a member of the Group of Experts for the Global Pact for Environment.
