Ramón Balcázar is the executive director of Fundación Tantí, a Chile-based NGO he co-founded focused on environmental justice, sustainable development, and community-based advocacy in the Atacama region. He has worked extensively in San Pedro de Atacama since 2015, leading local initiatives and action-research addressing mining impacts, water governance, and territorial rights.
