Eliza Nemser
Network Action Vice President, The Climate Reality Project
Eliza Nemser, PhD is the network action vice president at The Climate Reality Project, leading efforts to mobilize and engage climate advocates driving sustained action to catalyze systemic, policy-scale progress. She co-founded Climate Changemakers and served as its founding executive director until the program was integrated into Climate Reality in 2025.
Eliza brings deep experience at the intersection of advocacy, strategy, and science. She has advised and collaborated with organizations across the climate movement, including serving on advisory boards and steering committees focused on climate strategy and environmental health. Prior to co-founding Climate Changemakers, Eliza worked as a consulting environmental advocate and strategist with the NRDC Action Fund. Earlier in her career, Eliza spent nearly a decade at AECOM, a global infrastructure consulting firm, where she worked as a seismic geologist.
Eliza holds a PhD and an MS in Earth and space sciences and completed a postdoctoral research fellowship in earthquake engineering and seismology.
