Leah Whitacre (they/she) is a recent graduate of Chatham University with a BS in Sustainability and a minor in Women's and Gender Studies. During their time there, Leah worked in the Eden Hall Campus' K-12 office to help run sustainability-related educational programming. They were also a member of Chatham's student-led livestock team taking care of goats and chickens and integrating them into the agricultural spaces on campus. These experiences, both indoors and outdoors, have given Leah an appreciation for the various potential roles that people can have in fighting the climate crisis. Born and raised in Western PA, Leah now lives just outside of Pittsburgh with their roommate, two cows, two sheep, and a cat named Timber. In their free time, Leah enjoys climbing, playing music, and cooking with friends!
