As we bid farewell to 2023, we are reminded that it was anything but a normal year. It was the hottest year on record, with devastating droughts, rampant wildfires, and unprecedented flooding.  

But it was also a year with record-breaking clean energy investments, millions in financial commitments for vulnerable nations disproportionately suffering from the impacts of climate change, and a global acknowledgment of the end of the era of fossil fuels. 

We’ll be honest – we’ve got a lot of work ahead of us to build a just and sustainable true net zero future for ourselves and our communities in 2024. And the only way to do it is to do it together.
