A sober reminder that these countries are at the front lines of the climate change battle, and that we all need to do our part to help them safeguard their future.

'Yellowstone, coming home'... no more?As someone who has a deep and abiding love of the outdoors, and agrees with Ken Burns that national parks like Yellowstone are truly “America’s Best Idea,” I am dismayed that we’re allowing one of America’s most special spaces to suffer because of our inaction on climate change.

Honoring Wangari MaathaiI was deeply saddened to learn that an extraordinary woman, a passionate advocate for human rights and the environment, has passed away. Professor Wangari Muta Maathai, who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2004, dedicated her life to empowering women and promoting democracy and peace with a focus on sustainable development. We are honored that Professor Maathai served on our Board of Directors.
