Although Climate Reality Latin America is headquartered in Mexico City, Latin America is a large region with many different cultures and political climates. Strong engagement in Colombia and Mexico specifically is allowing for relationships to cross borders and foster climate action throughout the entire region. The Climate Reality Project Latin America office works side by side with government officials, journalists, and business leaders to influence climate policy and train the next generation of climate negotiators. The branch is working to broaden public understanding of the issue and build strong support for government action. Climate Reality Latin America brings together broad coalitions of stakeholders from business leaders to local officials to partner on practical solutions on the ground. Key to these efforts is a focus on creative outreach, with the branch using environmental art, films, and cutting-edge technology to reach and inspire a wide range of audiences with a message of urgency, hope, and solutions. Alongside its own outreach, the branch also works with media outlets to increase the accuracy and reporting of climate news throughout the continent.
